This position works with a number of different stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle from strategic definition and proposal through scoping, requirements gathering, development, and implementation, user acceptance testing, and establishing and documenting business processes where needed.
The ideal candidate will possess outstanding communication, technical, and problem solving skills, as well as proven business consulting and project management experience.
Project Management Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for process definition, execution and management oversight of CRM projects. Projects generally run 3-9 months in duration.
- Determine project needs and business resources required to execute projects.
- Work with client executives to clarify and define strategy, objectives, requirements and scope for the project.
- Establish client-accepted success criteria for projects.
- Manage project scope, drive resolution and keep project on schedule.
- Develop and track project action items and issues. Document all necessary items as needed.
- Identify and communicate risks and responses to mitigate project risk.
- Create project documentation that clearly communicates to all stakeholders in the project.
- Work with client teams to develop appropriate testing plans that ensure user acceptance, data quality, and system integrity.
- Coordinate the development of training materials, user manuals and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to the business owners and users.
Business Analysis Responsibilities:
In this role, you will drive conversations that identify and document specific requirements and design for the CRM / MA solution.
- Facilitate discovery sessions and requirements definition meetings with clients.
- Gain a rapid understanding of the business issues and challenges of the client’s organization and industry.
- Review and edit requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution.
- Develop functional specifications and system design specifications.
- Work with clients/prospects to identify key business issues and their priorities.
Required Qualifications:
- Previous consulting experience managing custom software development or systems integration.
- Minimum 2 years experience as a client facing consultant in a software environment or similar competence.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask across multiple, interdependent projects.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and master technical detail related to CRM and MA systems.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and follow-up
- Conflict management and problem diagnostic and solving skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to converse with developers in technical areas such as MySQL, PHP, Java, etc.
Highly Desirable:
- Experience with project management methodologies, PMP certification or project management continuing education
- Experience with SugarCRM, Pardot and/or NetResults
- Experience with other CRM or MA software such as Salesforce.com, SalesLogix, GoldMine, Marketo, Eloqua, Manticore, etc.
- Experience with a commercial email marketing platform.
