I just wanted to drop you a quick note thanking you for all of your efforts in focusing our marketing efforts.
The profitability analysis really helped us understand what makes up the most profitable areas of our business and the marketing analysis really helped us understand how to market to those segments.
We also found the SWOT assessment to be very helpful. Through the SWOT assessment we were able to get candid feedback from our people on our strengths and weaknesses. By learning about these strengths and weaknesses we were able to better prepare for additional business by tweaking some of our procedures. We also learned about some better ways to handle our marketing efforts.
We also enjoyed the Blue Ocean strategy exercise and the “six paths” you led us through to re-think our market boundaries. It was great to just think freely about possible new services and marketing strategies without worrying about possible constraints. We had never done an exercise like this in the past and it was a great idea to take us off site for this exercise!
Lastly, taking all of these exercises and formulating a game plan for implementing these new procedures into a larger marketing plan and outlining all the steps, both short term and long term, has been a huge catalyst for our marketing and sales initiatives.I look forward to working through changes and updates to this plan as our business continues to grow!
